In Waldorf education it is common practice for children to participate in a time of movement, verse, number patterns and song. The length of time that children are in "circle time" grows as the children do, and therefore varies from 10 - 40 minutes. Here is a great explanation as to why it's important for children, and why Waldorf families around the world prioritize daily circle time.
