Hi! We're Laura and Mitch Martin, and together with our two boys we live on an 80 acre homestead in the Canadian Maritimes.

 

We plant and harvest the majority of the vegetables our family consumes, raise grass-fed Icelandic lamb, and highland cattle, pasture raised chicken and eggs, and forage for wild fruit, and herbal medicine right here in New Brunswick. 

 

We try our best to improve the land that we have been blessed to call home through regenerative agricultural practices and although this life we live is anything but easy and we make plenty of mistakes along the way, we sure love the homesteading way of life and the abundance of learning, nourishment and love that result from the fruits of our labours.
