Registration for Farm & Forest School Programs

Please keep in mind that all of our programs are 100% outdoor immersion programs. The children will be outside for the entirety of the program. We expect that all children come prepared and dressed for the weather. Please see our clothing requirements before registering.

We have a camping toilet set up for bathroom needs.

Refunds: We are not able to provide refunds in most cases. We reserve the right to determine each case and any refunds we choose to provide will be less the $30 deposit.

A $30 non-refundable deposit is included in the cost of all programs. For cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the start of a program, a refund will be given, minus the non-refundable deposit.

Should illness or any other circumstances require you to cancel your registration less than 30 days prior to the start of the program , and if we are able to fill your child’s spot in the session with another student, we can offer a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

Should we need to cancel a day due to inclement weather or teacher illness, we will offer a make-up day at the end of the program - simply extending the program -- same time and same day of the week.

Should we need to cancel a program session due to any circumstance, registration fees will be refunded in full, including the $30 deposit.

Staff of our Farm & Forest School reserve the right to expel a child from our programs in the event that:

Student's program fees have not been paid
We cannot meet the child's needs
The child's behaviour puts him/herself, other students, or staff at risk

Sibling Discount: We offer a sibling discount for our Foxes program. Full price for 1 child, and 10% off for each additional child. - Your discount will be reimbursed to you.

I understand that the Farm & Forest School experience at Hazel Creek Homestead requires active parent participation and support at home. In order that our explorers are healthy and active, I agree to make sure my child is well-nourished and well-rested every day and will participate in parent meetings and other events at the school as often as possible. I understand that the school curriculum is experiential, seasonal, and nature-based. Farm & Forest School is child-directed and includes music, art, social interaction, and exploratory play. All lead guides will be trained in nature education and/or have some degree that is associated with exploratory play, education, or childhood development. I am aware that Farm & Forest School is 100% nature-based and children will be outside in ALL weather conditions, except severe conditions. I am committed to providing appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. In understand that Forest School is NOT appropriate for children who do not follow instructions.. I understand that this registration is NOT a contract, and I will expect to hear from the director to complete the registration for my family. If all spaces are full, I will be placed on a waiting list.
