“Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach of us more than we can ever learn from books.”
John Lubbock
One of the joys of homeschooling is that we can adjust to the different seasons of life— When the weather is gorgeous we take learning outside. When it’s lambing season, life’s lessons are provided for us. When it’s harvest season, all hands on deck.
Yes we are a Waldorf family, but we also “unschool” when the season demands it. My boys never stop learning because they get to truly LIVE each day.
Life is enough, as long as you truly live it.
